Copy a Liveboard or visualization link

The new Liveboard experience contains multiple new features and feature enhancements. It is on by default, and users can turn it on or off individually from the Experience manager panel in their profile. If you use the classic Liveboard experience in your environment, your experience may be different from the one described in this article.

Liveboards have a copy link option that lets you copy the link to access a specific visualization directly. This link opens the Liveboard in explore mode for that visualization.

You can copy and paste the copied link to include in a presentation or spreadsheet, or email or Slack it to other people in your company. Note that when selecting the link, the person must be authenticated to ThoughtSpot to see the visualization (for example, by signing in, or through SAML).

  1. Navigate to the Liveboard with the visualization you would like to copy a link for.

  2. Select the More menu icon more options menu icon for the visualization.

  3. Select Copy link. The link copies to your clipboard. You can now paste the link elsewhere. Note that the part of the link after The part of the link after /pinboard/ is the visualization ID or GUID.
