Define a custom sort order for a Worksheet

You can define a custom sort order for a worksheet to sort charts in a specific order based on your business needs.

The following chart types are supported:

  • Table

  • Column

  • Stacked column

  • Line

  • Bar

  • Stacked Bar

  • Line Column

  • Area

  • Stacked Area

  • Line stacked Column Scatter

  • Bubble,

  • Waterfall

  • Funnel

  • Pie

  • Heatmap

To define a custom sort order for a Worksheet:

  1. Select Data on the top navigation bar.

  2. Select the Worksheet you want to edit.

  3. Go to the Custom Sort column and enter the data elements that you want to sort on.

Custom sort order

Users can switch between standard or custom sort order.

Custom sorting is not supported for pivot tables.
