RHEL and OEL Deployment
Run ThoughtSpot on your own internally managed RedHat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 7.8, 7.9, 8.1, 8.2, 8.3, 8.4, 8.5, 8.6, 8.7, or 8.8 image, or on an Oracle Enterprise Linux (OEL) 7.9 image.
You have the flexibility to run ThoughtSpot on an RHEL 7.8, 7.9, 8.1, 8.2, 8.3, 8.4, 8.5, 8.6, 8.7, or 8.8 image or an OEL 7.9 image that your organization manages internally. This enables your organization to manage the OS and perform SysAdmin tasks.
ThoughtSpot certifies RHEL 7.8 and 7.9 on the following platforms:

Bare metal deployments on the ThoughtSpot-certified hardware appliance: SMC and Dell

Cloud deployments: Amazon Web Services (AWS) EC2, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
ThoughtSpot certifies RHEL 8.1, 8.2, 8.3, 8.4, 8.5, 8.6, 8.7, and 8.8 on the following platforms:

Bare metal deployments on the ThoughtSpot-certified hardware appliance: SMC

Cloud deployments: Amazon Web Services (AWS) EC2, Microsoft Azure
ThoughtSpot does not certify RHEL 8 versions on GCP or Dell. |
ThoughtSpot certifies OEL 7.9 on the following platforms:

ThoughtSpot does not certify OEL on Microsoft Azure, SMC, or Dell. |
