Add a SAS DataFlow connection
You can add a connection to the SAS database using ThoughtSpot DataFlow.
Follow these steps:

Click Connections in the top navigation bar.

In the Connections interface, click Add connection in the top right corner.

In the Create Connection interface, select the Connection type.

After you select the SAS Connection type, the rest of the connection properties appear.

- Connection name

Name your connection.
- Connection type

Choose the SAS connection type.
- Host

Specify the hostname or the IP address of the system.
- Port

Specify the port associated with the system.
- User
-
Specify the user who connects to the system. This user must have data access privileges.
- Password
-
Specify the password for the User.
- Server type
-
Specify the type of server to connect.
- Ref name
-
Specify the reference name given to recognize the server.
- Path
-
Specify the path which is generated by server.
- Version
-
Specify the SAS version being connected to.

Click Create connection.
