Updates to runtime filters in a Liveboard do not appear in the downloaded Liveboard.

Symptoms:

When you update a runtime filter, and then download a Liveboard, the PDF artifact doesn’t reflect the pre-applied filters.

Conditions:

Update a runtime filter in a Liveboard and then download it.

Workaround:

SCAL-177835

The group_aggregate function works differently with null values between ThoughtSpot Cloud and Software versions.

Symptoms:

Using an if statement in a formula to determine if a number is NULL generates a different result with ThoughtSpot Software compared to ThoughtSpot Cloud.

Conditions:

ThoughtSpot version 9.5.0.cl

Workaround:

None.

SCAL-173808

A filter created for the max date function does not apply to the result set, based on the underlying SQL query.

Symptoms: A filter created in an Answer for the max date function does not apply to the result set, even when applied in the Answer’s search bar.

Conditions:

The underlying sql query.

Workaround:

None.

SCAL-172622

Requesting access to a filter in an Answer does not work.

Symptoms:

Clicking Request Access in the filter of an Answer does not work.

Conditions:

  1. User creates an Answer with a filter applied to any column.

  2. They save the answer and share it with another user who doesn’t have access to the underlying data.

  3. The other user clicks the filter chip in the Answer and clicks the Request Access button.

SCAL-172617

Worksheet name not properly displayed in warning message when requesting access to a filter in a Worksheet.

Symptoms:

Worksheet name not properly displayed in warning message when user does not have access to a filter in a Worksheet.

Conditions:

  1. User creates an Answer with a filter applied to any column.

  2. They save the answer and share it with another user who doesn’t have access to the underlying data.

  3. The other user clicks the filter chip in the Worksheet.

Workaround:

SCAL-172356

User can edit an existing or create a new Atlan connection in ThoughtSpot using deleted API tokens.

Symptoms:

Deleting the token in Atlan for an Atlan connection in ThoughtSpot does not make the token invalid. User is able to modify existing connection and also create a new connection with deleted token.

Conditions:

  1. Open the Data tab and navigate to Data governance.

  2. In the Atlan tile, click Connect.

  3. Enter the credentials and click Next.

  4. Set the sync schedule and click Next.

  5. Select the metadata fields to import, and click Save & Sync.

  6. On the Atlan side, delete the generated token for the Atlan connection established in ThoughtSpot.

  7. In ThoughtSpot, edit the Atlan connection and modify the sync / metadata checks.

Workaround:

SCAL-171431

GraphQL v2 cannot be disabled in ThoughtSpot.

Symptoms:

No way to disable GraphQL v2 in the product or by ThoughtSpot support.

Conditions:

QraphQL v2 is running.

ThoughtSpot version 9.4.0.cl.

Workaround:

None.

SCAL-167159

Passthrough functions cannot be executed on an object in ThoughtSpot’s in-memory database.

Symptoms:

Error appears: Error Details [11022] Passthrough functions not supported for current query. Trace Id for this incident is ff025b55-9f46-470e-95f4-c4766533e5cf Additional Details Passthrough functions cannot be executed on Falcon objects

Conditions:

Open query visualizer.
