Starburst connection reference

You need very specific information to establish a seamless and secure connection with your Starburst database.

Here is a list of fields for Starburst connections.

You require all these fields, except the ones we marked (Optional).

Connection name

Enter the name for the new connection.

Connection description

(Optional) Provide a short description of the connection.

Host

Enter the host name or IP address.

Example

192.168.1.1

Port

Enter the port number associated with the database.

User

Enter the user associated with the database.

Password

Enter the password of the user.

Database

Enter the name of the database associated with the account. (Optional)
