Română Keyword reference

Use keywords when asking a question to help define your search. This reference lists the various keywords.

You can only use one set of keywords at a time. If you set your locale to Română, you can only use Română keywords. You can’t also use English keywords, or any other language. ThoughtSpot doesn’t translate its branded terms, such as Liveboard, SpotIQ, and so on.

General

When using the top or bottom keywords without specifying a number (n), the number defaults to 10.
bottom n

Generates the bottom n items from a sorted result.

Generates the top n items from a sorted result. If your search has more than 1 measure, ThoughtSpot generates the top n items from the first measure in the search.

If you enter multiple measures in your search, ThoughtSpot sorts by the first measure. For example, if you search for top 3 sales by product quantity purchased, ThoughtSpot sorts by sales. If you change the search to sort by a different column, such as top 3 sales by product sort by quantity purchased, ThoughtSpot sorts by quantity purchased but preserves the top three ranked by sales.

If you search for "top n by <column>", ThoughtSpot sorts by the column, then takes the top n results. If you specify an attribute column, ThoughtSpot selects the results by reverse alphabetical order. We recommend using measure columns with the "top n by" keyword.

For multiple begins_with or ends_with phrases on the same side of the versus query, ThoughtSpot will combine them using OR. For multiple contains phrases on the same side of the versus query, ThoughtSpot will combine them using OR or AND, depending on the behavior set in your environment.
ThoughtSpot doesn’t support the use of group_* formula measures with the vs keyword. ThoughtSpot doesn’t support the use of the vs keyword within an in or not in subquery.
